Custom A-Arms
Why geometry matters more than strength.
Built for your bike, your riding, your geometry
Most of the people who reach out to MEC-CON start with the same question: can you build me A-arms for my bike? Yes.
Every set we build is custom. Your platform, your discipline, your goals. We don’t ship off-the-shelf A-arms. There is no off-the-shelf A-arm here.
What stock A-arms can’t do
A stock A-arm is engineered for the bike it shipped on, ridden the way most owners ride it. Push past that envelope — sand, hard cornering, big jumps, race-pace tree-lining — and stock geometry gets unpredictable.
The rear breaks loose where you don’t want it to. The front-end load shifts wrong. You correct, the bike fights, you correct again, and that’s the lap time.
You can’t fix that with a stronger stock A-arm. You fix it by changing the geometry.
What we do differently
Geometry first
We design the A-arm against the load case you actually ride — your stance, your travel, your suspension valving, your discipline. The dimensions follow the geometry, not the other way around.
Materials second
High-grade chromoly. CNC cutting where precision matters. TIG welded by hand. Every joint inspected before it leaves the bench.
One at a time
Every A-arm is built one at a time. Not stamped, not assembled from a parts bin, not shipped from a warehouse. Built for the bike that’s actually going to run them.
What a single-variable change does
Corey Blakesley — a sand rider who’d run OEM components for years — swapped only his swingarm to a MEC-CON unit. Nothing else changed. Same suspension, same wheels, same engine, same tires, same rider.
That’s what a single, well-designed change to chassis geometry does. Read the full case study →
